We are who we are
Name: 悪魔羽 Videl Tori Kaze {Title: Devil Feather}
Age: 12
Trainer Class: IX
Career: The Elite Four (Trainer)
Likes
- Flying Type Pokemon
- Flying (On the back of her Pokemon)
- Writing Poetry
- Reading
- Empyrean City
- People who work hard
- Raumulus, Djay, and Macha
- Poptarts (Not sure when this surfaced)
Dislikes
- People who mistreat Pokemon
- Being underestimated or used
- Cooking
- Any food outside of her Vegan diet
- Poachers
- Ground Type Pokemon (Simply because one killed her mother)
- Overly bubbly people (And people in general usually)
Appearance: Videl, is extremely pale and could honestly be mistaken as a Psychic or Ghost type trainer pretty easily. She was born with brown hair but over the years major stress caused it to grey in small spots so she dyes it snow white. Her eyes are deep, sorrowful purple, an extremely rare but beautiful color. Her usual choice of attire for outside the Pokemon League Gym is very plain Jane, consisting mostly of simple sun dresses or shorts and mid drift. However when working, she is seen in a very beautiful white dress that almost looks entirely made of feathers though this isn't true.
- Work Clothes:
It is this very gown and the flying type Pokemon she uses that earned her the prestigious title; The Devil Feather.
Hair color: Medium Length Wavy, Snow White and usually worn up in a high pony tail but not always
Eye color: Deep concentrated purple, filled with sorrow and indifference
Body Type: Slim/Slender
Personality: Videl is soft spoken, and often times seen as depressing or quiet. Her heart is in the right place, and she'd never hurt anything, but her dark personality makes many wonder why she chose flying Pokemon over ghost or dark type. In honesty she has a deep love for the freedom her Pokemon have, she longs to be able to fly away and escape from the world like they can.
Though she has a quiet temperament, she is not lazy in the least, having trained her first Pokemon at the age of six and getting into the Elite Four at the age of 11. She has a stern attitude when necessary but never raises her voice or gets angry, in fact she's so calm at times people try to walk all over her. Of course she usually just drops them as friends the moment something like that happens, and isolates herself with her Pokemon. Needless to say she has serious trust issues but would never act cruel towards anyone despite those problems.
It appears as though she has almost no creativity in her, from the plain Jane names of her Pokemon to the way she dresses or cooks, everything in her control is simple. However, her personality is greatly complex and extremely deep. The one personal talent she has besides battling Pokemon, is poetry. It seems it's her only invite into creativity and she's very good at it. Another interest fact about her is that she is a vegan.
I Choose You!
Pokémon: Pigeot (Pixxa)
Pokemon's Personality Pixxa was Viddy's very first Pokemon, she got her when she was the tender age of five simply as a pet. Therefore Pixxa is the unintentional favorite and highest level of the six. She is very intelligent and cuddley but tends to be a bit snotty towards the others at times, probably because she's been with Videl longer than any of the others. Also she hates to be in her Pokeball and so is always out.
Moves:
- Air Slash Flying Special: (The user attacks with a blade of air that slices even the sky. It may also make the target flinch. 30% chance of flinching) Power: 75 Acc: 95
- Fly Flying Physical: (1st turn: Fly 2nd turn: Attack) Power: 90 Acc: 95
- Featherdance Flying Status: (Envelops the foe with down to sharply reduce ATTACK) Acc: 100
- Aerial Ace Flying Physical: (The user confounds the foe with speed, then slashes. The attack lands without fail) Power: 60 Acc: Can't miss
Ability: Keen Eye (Prevents other Pokemon from lowering accuracy)
Tangled Feet (Raises evasion if the pokemon is confused)
Tier: IX
Extra: Received her as a Pidgey at the age of five and kept her as a pet until the age of six where she began to train her. Pixxa is a female
Pokemon: Charizard(Charlie)
Pokemon's Personality Charlie seems more angry than anything, not with Videl or his friends but he has a flaming temper as most Charizard seem to. The second he feels hungry or tired, he's the first one to be caught laying around lazily or getting into trouble. Despite all of this he is a good member of Videl's team and fights alongside her beautifully. On a side note: He set the Pokemon League Gym on fire a few times while training.
Moves:
- Shadow Claw Ghost Physical: (The user slashes with a sharp claw made from shadows. It has a high critical-hit ratio 100% accuracy) Power: 70 Acc: 100
- Flame Thrower Fire Physical: (10% chance of being left with a burn) Power: 95 Acc: 100
- Fire Spin Fire Physical: (Damages opponent for 2-5 turns, opponent cannot escape/switch) Power: 35 Acc: 85
- Scary Face Normal Status: (Sharply reduces the foe's SPEED) Acc: 100
Ability: Blaze (If a pokemon has less than a third of their HP remaining, Blaze will power up their Fire-type moves by 50%)
Tier: VIII
Extra: Charlie is a male
Pokemon: Skarmory(Steely)
Pokemon's Personality Steely is stubborn as Charlie is, only she isn't lazy at all. She will sit for hours in one spot simply to make sure no one will take something of hers. Her personality is bold and daring, she'll defend her friends till the bitter end. It appears she has something of a small friendly rivalry with Sydney; though they fight they share a friendship stronger than the others as they both have bladed appendages that make it difficult to interact with anyone else.
Moves:
- Steel Wing Steel Physical: (The foe is hit with wings of steel. It may also raise the user’s DEFENSE) Power: 90 Acc: 90
- X-Scissor Bug Physical: (The user slashes at the foe by crossing its scythes or claws as if they were a pair of scissors) Power: 80 Acc: 100
- Aerial Ace Flying Physical: (The user confounds the foe with speed, then slashes. The attack lands without fail) Power: 60 Acc: Can't miss
- Rest Psychic Status: (Sleep for 2 turns to fully recover)
Ability: Keen Eye (Prevents other Pokemon from lowering accuracy)
Sturdy (It can't be knocked out with one hit)
Tier: VII
Extra: Has a rivalry with Sydney and is a female
Pokemon: Syther(Sydney)
Pokemon's Personality Sydney isn't fond of flying like the others, he spends most of his time fighting Steely over food and territory. When the time comes to fight he usually does very well but he despises to work as a team with the others. For this reason Videl doesn't call on him very often in battles but she keeps around simply because he reminds her of herself. A loner.
Moves:
- X-Scissor Bug Physical: (The user slashes at the foe by crossing its scythes or claws as if they were a pair of scissors) Power: 80 Acc: 100
- Razor Wind Normal Special: (Blades of wind hit the foe on the 2nd turn. It has a high critical-hit ratio) Power: 80 Acc: 100
- Agility Psychic Status: (Sharply increases the user's SPEED)
- Toxic Poison Status: (A move that leaves the target badly poisoned. Its poison damage worsens every turn) Acc: 90
Ability: Swarm (Powers up Bug-type moves in a pinch)
Technician (Powers up his weaker moves)
Tier: VII
Extra: Sydney is a male and has a rivalry with Arnold
Pokemon: Swellow(Stella)
Pokemon's Personality Stella is extremely OCD, she keeps everything in check, including making sure the others are in line when they go flying or in team battles. She nitpicks about everything and is often found picking things up with her beak that may count as a mess to her. Also, as she has learned to speak a few words besides "Swellow" they are: "Stella" "Hi" "Clean" and "Tarry" (All words that can be formed with just the tongue)
Moves:
- Fly Flying Physical: (1st turn: Fly 2nd turn: Attack) Power: 90 Acc: 95
- Aerial Ace Flying Physical: (The user confounds the foe with speed, then slashes. The attack lands without fail) Power: 60 Acc: 100
- Double Team Normal Status: (Creates illusory copies to raise evasiveness)
- Peck Flying Physical: (The foe is jabbed with a sharply pointed beak or horn.) Power: 35 Acc: 100
Ability: Guts (Boosts attack if there is a status problem)
Tier: IX
Extra: Stella and Tarry are close friends. Stella is a female
Pokemon: Altaria(Tarry)
Pokemon's Personality Tarry is as energetic as most Altaria are, he is happy to sing and fly around through the sky with Videl's other flying Pokemon. He gets along well with the entire team and is always eager to help out in a battle. He appears to have developed a close friendship with Stella and even helps preen her feathers for her, the ultimate show of respect for Swellow.
Moves:
- Fly Flying Physical: (1st turn: Fly 2nd turn: Attack) Power: 90 Acc: 95
- Sing Normal Status: (Puts the opponent to sleep, if it hits. (100% chance) Acc: 55
- Perish Song Normal Status: (Any Pokemon in play when this attack is used faints in 3 turns)

3 37.5 45
4 12.5 60
5 12.5 75
Ability: Natural Cure (All status problems will cure when it's switched out)
Tier: XIII
Extra: Tarry and Stella are good friends. Tarry is a male
Step Into My Life
History:
- Spoiler:
- Videl was born into and raised by nomads who traveled the world in search of new and interesting Pokemon as well as their techniques, habitats, and behaviors. Her parents were fairly kind but they were so wrapped up in their studies they were often forgetful, nearly leaving her behind several times by accident, or otherwise just ignorantly neglectful. When she was very very young, her twin sister Macha, was in fact forgotten and separated from the group, by the time anyone noticed her missing they all assumed it was too late and she was gone. Eaten by a wild Pokemon or something otherwise terrible.
This is the life Videl was forced into, constantly needing to take care of herself even at the age of three. She knew her mother and father didn't mean to do the things they did, and that they loved her and her deceased sister; so she held on to what little hope she had left and took matters into her own hands around the house. When she was five years old, she had been left in a tent while her parents were up the mountain watching some wild Machops, when a baby Pidgey stumbled inside. She looked like she was running from something, and sure enough when Videl peeked her head outside the tent, there had been a very angry swarm of Beedrills buzzing madly around the campsite. Immediately she zipped up the tent flap and comforted the Pidgey, who took to her almost right away.
From that day on the Pidgey was deemed Pixxa, however, unlike her parents other Pokemon, she refused to go in a Pokeball. Thus she followed her everywhere on foot or in the air once she learned to fly. The moment she was large enough to carry her, Videl was riding on her back nearly everyday. The two formed an inseparable bond with each other and when Videl's mother died after a mountain climbing accident (She had been scaling the mountain and had grabbed for a rock that turned out to be a Geodude who angrily attacked her, sending her plummeting to her death), only Pixxa was there to comfort her.
It was as though freedom vanished after that. Her father was left as an empty shell of a man; he had no passion for what he did any longer and released every single one of his Pokemon after burning all of his research. He developed a hatred for all Pokemon and had Pixxa released as well, however she stayed by them the entire time, following Videl even when her father shooed at her. Shortly after they found a home in Vellum City, by the harbor, and they "settled" down for the first time in her entire life. He found a job as a biologist fairly quickly and that's where he stayed for many years.
Videl went to school, came home, and isolated herself in her room. She refused to make friends with anyone except Pixxa, who she snuck into the house whenever her father wasn't home or was sleeping, and she purposefully failed all of her subjects in rebellion. It went on like this for two years before the terrible happened. She came home one day from school and her father was dead on the couch with a gun in his palm, skull blown off and blood splattered all over the wall and furniture. He left a suicide note on the coffee table that she read after throwing up:
Viddy,
I'm sorry. It was too much to handle I need to be with your mom, take care
That was all he had left behind for her besides his mutilated body. All she could think was if she would ever be free from responsibility or from pain? She called the police but didn't wait for them to arrive, she simply left the note on the table, packed her bags, hoped on Pixxa's back and flew away to Empyrean City.
Upon arrival at the magnificent city, she began to train Pixxa to battle, eager to become something more than the daughter of neglectful parents. She'd been training her a little here and there but nothing of great power. The moment she believed she was ready, she took her to battle a beginner trainer in the wilderness and won, which boosted both their confidences enormously. Pretty soon Pixxa was shooting up levels and learning new abilities but that wasn't enough, Videl took her out into the wilderness around the city and bellow it and started to catch new flying type Pokemon which became part of the team.
At the age of 9 she battled her very first Gym Leader and defeated them with Pixxa, Tarry, and Stella. Victory after victory happened at each Gym and between each city she seemed to catch a new Pokemon, training them to become stronger as well. Upon the defeat of the last Gym Leader at the age of 11 she tackled the Elite Four with all six of her Pokemon, and won. Giving her and her team the title "Devil Feathers" and immediately she was offered a position as one of the Elite that she simply could not give up.
Now she is often found in the sky around Empyrean City, or in the wilderness training her team. She works hard and accomplishes what most couldn't do in a life time, every day, all under the one simple thought; Freedom. If she struggles hard enough, and gets enough done, she could escape and fly away some day on the wings of her partners.

- Spoiler:
- Azmara was leaning over a makeshift desk in the dark of one of the many barracks outside of the Shiki Mansion. Above her the dome ceilings rose, creating a full eerie echoing sounds that reverberated off the tin every time a rat squeaked or a squirrel skittered over the roof outside. An irritating dripping sound made a constant, "pit pat pit splat from the high arched nozzle of the rusty metal sink in the back of the tight quarters. The stench of sweat, men, and Lysol bleach eradicated the noses of anyone stupid enough to wonder inside the crusty door. Still the warrior dragoness reached for a small carotene lamp and lit the wick with a match, she hated electricity and stayed as far away from it as possible even in those days of technology and the ever so proficient...light bulb?
The corroded walls of the barracks near her lit up with a dim, sallow glow as she babied the flame to life and placed the vase shaped glass back over the wick. She watched for a short moment as the ember flickered joyously at its new arrival into the world, even if the area it was birthed into was as dank and frighteningly drab as it was. People could learn a lot from fire, though she was not a dragon of flame she respected it as though she was and realized that though its short life was only metaphorical, it remained shining brilliantly in the darkest of times. If only true living, breathing organisms could understand that which an object with no brain has understood since the dawn of time. The world would no longer have need for that dark, cold barracks.
Azmara quickly drew out a sheet of paper and placed it before her on the desk, it was coffee stained and as badly kept as the rest of the place was but it would work for what she intended to do with it. The only thing she could find to write with was a half chewed carpenters pencil, but it had some lead left to its point and so she picked it up, though not without slightly grossed out hesitance. Her ruby and topaz hues met the parchment and her fingers began to greedily fill up the space with letters that soon became a message.
"Relay to the Shiki and your Lord Nero, that, I, the Lady Amethyst of Yohei has taken my leave in order to train. Do not follow in the hopes to bring me back as I will be well away before this message is ever found. I will return to you, myfellow men, when the time is proper."
The dragoness stared at the note, written in pencil that was sketched lightly from the poor quality of the stationery and in badly formed penmanship do to the lumps of rust and the immature engraving of '~censored by Haven staffs~' set into the decaying desk below her writing space. It would simply have to do, however, she couldn't help, in her annoyance, to add one last sentence;
"P.S. This barracks had better be clean when i return or rations will be cut in half.
-Lady Amethyst "
As happy as she could be, the leader of Yohei pulled a roll of masking tape from her cloak pocket and slapped the sticky end of it on the desk while attached to the note. When the men returned from their duties that day, they would be sure to see it and do as she asked immediately, which hopefully included making that Lysol aroma a little more than an attempt at cleanliness.
With that responsibility done, Azmara gladly put out the flame of her lamp, pocketed it carefully and walked with hastened steps to the door. The green paint was peeling off of it in large clumps, revealing the rusty metal beneath and creating a less than attractive combination that unfortunately looked more like hurl than a Christmas tree. She grabbed the knob without much thought and left the shambolic barracks behind for the comfort of the high noon sun.
Light poured in on her, warming her olive skin like a hen warms her eggs and the camp filled her sensitive nostrils with new smells of gunpowder, grass, cooking meat and clay. Smoke twirled aimlessly out of the blacksmiths garrison and onto the rudimentary dirt path down the center of the grounds. To her right the men, including her own soldiers, were training hard, though Shuhei was nowhere to be seen at that time. At her right, just beyond a line of hungry men and woman, the chiefs tent was pitched which was where the smell of meat was rising from. Azmara felt her stomach growl and she growled in return, there wasn't any time to eat she would have to catch prey later.
Annoyed, as usual, the dragoness made her way past a crowd of mortal soldiers exercising the horses, and hastened her way towards the edge of the mountain side. Several other obstacles interrupted her from her progress, such as soldiers pretending to be interested in where she was going or a squad that suddenly decided to march down the center of the main road. At any rate, by the time she clambered up to the platform of the narrow staircase that would lead her down the side of the crag, she was almost too irritated to continue. "By all the graves..." She whispered to herself, grasping her fists tightly.
When the cost was clear at last, Azmara made one more diffident gaze over her shoulder and slipped off her grey and white mottled cloak. Beneath the colorless cotton fabric all she wore were bandages over her small chest with low riding white jeans. A necklace dangled on a delicate silver cord and stopped just over her chest where an amethyst jewel rested almost teasingly at the crack of her breasts. In stark contrast to the refined tastes of her jewelry, her feet were clad in heavy leather boots with the hems of her jeans stuffed in the tops of them where the denim was out of the way of her tripping.
All in all she was quite the beauty physically (even if her choice of attire was a bit odd) with her maple skin, rosy cheeks, almond eyes –despite their demonic colors- and toned muscles all on the ample height of 5’2. But what was truly magnificent was the creature within that surrogate body, the one that made her skin olive and her eyes topaz and ruby, the one that gave her long nails and fangs, and the power to do what she did at that moment.
The amethyst at her neck shined brightly, illuminating the bottom of her chin and collar bone like an amplified purple buttercup, then suddenly there was the sound of tearing flesh. From the back of the divine woman, sprung forth two magnificent lavender wings each 6 feet in length. Darker purple scales rimmed the finger-like digits that spread apart the thin membrane of the appendages, but they were not like normal dragon scales, they seemed lighter. Anyone with the knowledge of dragons would see that the wings that protruded from Azmara’s back were built for the speed and agility a larger, heavier dragon could not accomplish.
As though nothing was askew, the dragoness tucked her trench coat with the carotene lamp and the masking tape into a purple backpack that was hidden in a secret compartment beneath the second step of the stairs. She had really put thought into that short escape into the wilderness, her training was more important than anything else; the others would simply have to trust in her return.
She hunched her knees in preparation to take flight, finally ready to make haste towards the mountains of Shinrei and disappear for a few days. Of course that’s when everything goes wrong, with any scheme there was always a hiccup somewhere. Presley Richington, a loud and unembarrassed homosexual was doing rounds that day, for what reason Azmara was deathly annoyed to even ask him. “Lady Azmara! Oh joy! Hello there! Watch’ya doing?”
Why had she tried to do this during the day, and for God’s sake why on earth was Presley doing rounds?
“Don’t question your general soldier, haste your rounds or I will be sure you are running yonder laps so long your ~censored by Haven staffs~ will fall off.” She barked, revealing a pleasant yet fierce accent.
“But Lady, it’s high noon you’ll miss lunch!” He hollered, somehow unaffected by her previous threat.
All Azmara wanted to do at this point was pound her head on the closest wall, of course her face was as blank as usual despite these feelings. “Turn around. Finish your rounds, then run 50 laps around Our lord’s mansion. If I hear you feasted before your punishment was commenced 50 laps will be the least of your concerns.” She ordered smoothly, demon eyes flashing aggressively on an otherwise blank façade.
This seemed to reach his deafened ears as the color drained from his body, “L-lady don’t you think that’s a bit-“
“One Hundred. Shall I take your rations as well?” She interrupted, indifferent to his horrified gape.
The poor boy looked like a ghost when he turned to walk away, or perhaps the correct phrase was, he looked like he had seen a ghost. Azmara wasn’t sure and honestly she didn’t care, she was simply happy he was gone.
Turning to face the beaming light pf the sun the dragoness launched herself into the air without a second glance, taking off at lightning speed for the mountains. She was positive this time that the correct term was, ‘to get the hell out of there.’ Her wings caught the wind perfectly and she quickly found the ample north bound current high over the vastly augmenting city of Shinrei.
At last, she had escaped! Now to find her new training ground, she had just the place in mind…
Present Time
Azmara had long since landed, though far from her final destination she couldn’t take the hunger any longer. It was inconvenient to try and hunt, the weather was bitterly cold and she was positive she could sense a terrible storm racing South bound, a nasty headwind that was sure to stop her. Her only option had been to settle down in a small town on the outskirts of Shinrei for the night where she could feed herself and rest. Though it was unbearably tantalizing to have to force herself to stare at the towering trees in the all too far distance, angrily wishing she was among their frosty evergreens and deciduous brothers.
Hoping to pass time faster, she was currently wondering the streets of the village; how had she come to window shopping? If there was anything she hated more than shopping, it was window shopping. The Lady grumpily threw her cloak over her slender shoulders, trying to focus on the soothing sounds around her; like the crunch of her footsteps on newly fallen snow and the gutsy song birds still untethered by the winter chills. With any luck the storm would pass soon and she would be on her way...

Re: Videl Tori Kaze {The Devil Feather}
I know this is a WIP, but i hope you know that we require the moves of your pokemon, their ability, and their personality with each one on your team. you have all the competition stats up there instead. Also, i suggest you copy and paste your pokemon images from the Black and white pokedex on Seribii.com it creates more room and its more visually appealing.

Re: Videl Tori Kaze {The Devil Feather}
Ah. The Elite Four here dont work like the Games Elite Four. The Pokemon League here is a stage were Trainer fight each other. The Elite Four are, in a sense, an independent Organization. Think of them like a smaller Team Vector, only with their own purpose. One I think Djay MIGHT be making. Unless we do out Vector vs. Elite Four Event.
