Carve Your Name In History
'Excellent.'
We are who we are
Name: Professor Bladdernut
Age: 35
Trainer Class: V
Career: Pokemon Professor/Researcher
Likes Pokemans, researching Pokemans, the people who willingly or unwillingly help with said research.
Dislikes People that are too serious, haters, being told how he should act as a renown professor of the region.
Appearance: Bladdernut isn't someone who's appearance is particularly noteworthy. Comparable to a bellsprout, he's of average height, skinny and has an elongated face. Unlike other professors, who dress in lab coats and the like, the man chooses to dress in a more comfortable casual style. Possible is most noticeable accessory is his overly large, round glasses which cover nearly half of his face.
Hair color: Dark Brown
Eye color: Brown
Body Type: Skinny
Personality: This man isn't exactly your run off the mill mr. nice pokemon professor. He isn't a bad man by any means, but he can be a bit difficult to handle. Bladdernut's presence alone tends to be frustrating enough, and his unorthodox battling methods have been know to leave opposing trainers full on irritated. Despite this, nobody knows if this is his real persona or a farce he poses in order to conduct research.
I Choose You!
Pokémon: Whimsicott
Pokémon's Personality: Bladdernut's first pokemon is a lot like it's trainer; it's ability another good hint of his main characteristic. Playful and with a seemly complete lack of common sense, Whimsicott will attempt to prank anybody, no mater how important they may be. He doesn't take anything seriously, in or out of battle, and takes pride in striving to be the most irritating creature on the planet.
Moves:
- Taunt
- Substitute
- Leech Seed
- Double Team
Ability: Prankster
Tier: V
Extra:
Pokémon: Spinda
Pokémon's Personality: Spinda is always confused, carefree and happy. Much like Whimsicott it doesn't take battles very seriously and would rather play or eat berries.
Moves:
- Teeter Dance
- Hypnosis
- Dizzy Punch
- Metronome
Ability: Tangled Feet
Tier: V
Extra:
Pokémon: Wobbuffet
Pokémon's Personality: Wobbuffet is wobbuffet. He is baws, but tends to be completely oblivious to everything. He shares the same trait as his trainer and pokemon team where he doesn't think too seriously about battle. Usually popping out of its pokeball at random intervals for the lolz.
Moves:
- Counter
- Mirror Coat
- Safeguard
- Destiny Bond
Ability: Shadow Tag
Tier: V
Extra:
Pokémon: Bellsprout
Pokémon's Personality: Bellsprout could be considered the odd one out of the group; sort of. It enjoys watching action movies and taking the moves he sees into the battlefield, where it surprises opponents with its random, movie-like martial arts among other things.
Moves:
- Razor Leaf
- Seed Bomb
- Stun Spore
- Slam
Ability: Chlorophyll
Tier: V
Extra: Yes, it knows kung-fu. o-o
Step Into My Life
History: Born an raised in the quiet life of Eden Town, Bladdernut followed the same path as everyone else and became a pokemon trainer at the age of 10. At the beginning he had been very serious about his journey and was bent on becoming the greatest pokemon league champion the world had ever know at all costs. In fact, one could say Bladdernut was a little too serious. Unfortunately for him, his starting pokemon was a Cottonee who was more interested in being the most epic troll in the universe rather than actually winning battles. The trainer of course, hated this, making it worse by the fact that the pokemon's personality made it hard to even capture other pokemon. At one point they did manage to capture another pokemon. An estranged Spinda, that much to the boy's dismay, was a lot in personality like the cotton puff that was his first pokemon.
As time passed, the two pokemon rubbed off on their trainer, and Bladdernut became a lot more laid back. So much in fact that he actually enjoyed joining in on the trolling of other trainers. Once he realized this, it led to some intriguing questions that in turn changed his path forever. He was no longer interested in becoming the greatest pokemon trainer in the world but rather on research. An ongoing journey to discover how pokemon, people and their experiences influence each other.

- Spoiler:
- Today, had been rather uneventful, just like nearly every other day. As such, a single girl laid by herself, doing what she did best; absolutely nothing. Simply staring at the blue skies above, the slow moving clouds we doing a good job of lulling the young woman to sleep, her eyes becoming heavier with each passing moment. The quiet bustling of the town folk below only adding to the tranquil mood the girl found herself in.
Loki found herself at the top of the tallest building in the area. It wasn't much, a small apartment building, probably ten floors or so. A few other similar buildings dotted the area, with some large roads along the way. It wasn't as busy as down town would be, but there was plenty of movement around the area at any given time of day.
Despite her shiftless appearance, the girl's apparel made her look unusually sporty. Baggy cargo pants fell down over her yellow and white runners so that one could only see the white front and bottom of the shoes; most of the yellow top covered by the pants. A thin white stripe ran down either side of the otherwise black pants. The young woman's shirt appeared to be part of a matching outfit for the pants with inverted colors. The tank top was tight, showing its wearer's curves; something rare in Loki's case. Mostly white in color, the trims around the bottom and the sleeves were the same dark color as the pants. It hugged just over the belt of her pants, but any upward stretching would be enough to show the woman's toned midriff. All this time she had been lying on the floor, arms behind her head, acting as a pillow.
Having no real sense of time, the fairy had no idea how long she had been in that position for. It had been the greater part of the day. There was nothing to do. Days like this were becoming more frequent. It seemed being ageless had its drawbacks after all. Finally letting her eyes come to a rest, Loki was about to let sleep claim her for about the third time today, when she was suddenly awoken by a strange rumbling.
Slowly opening her eyes, the girl sat up to the crashing echoes of painful screams, panicked honking of car horns and other such sounds. As earthquakes began rolling about, whole light poles came smashing to the ground upon the fleeing people below. Windows shattered, raining sharp pieces of glass on those who wondered too close to buildings. The very place where Loki sat rumbled and shook violently as the deafening pleas for help were washed away by the cries of the earth itself. The girl however, was still sitting as if nothing was going on; or more precisely, the events hadn't quite gotten past her thick skull.
Once the shaking became less violent, the fairy rubbed her eyes a bit and stood up; taking her time to stretch properly. She was indeed, someone who kept her priorities straight. When she was finally done that, the fairy then decided to leisurely stroll to the edge of the building to check what was going on below; only to find herself chuckling at what was bound to be an ironic encounter.
Imps. Out of all things, people were being massacred by damn imps. Generally harmless, one could see them as the twisted counterparts to fairies. Alone they were weak, but in this case a whole ocean of them had been spawned from the earthquakes and they were quickly overrunning everything in the vicinity. Those larger abominations weren't far behind, though lacking in numbers, they were visibly far more fearsome than their tiny cannon fodder allies and were quick and efficient at cutting down anything that the imps could not. With whole legions of demons on the loose, Loki found herself unable to help.
Of course, strength wasn't the problem, the fairy had plenty of that, but there was something else; a feeling she couldn't quite grasp. Perhaps it was curiosity as she was unable to understand why these things would suddenly decide to show up. Was it the end of the world?
"What kind of piss poor end of the world is this?." A sigh of disappointment escaped the girl's lips, her words barely audible, even to her. "Weird, I didn't think I slept that long." Mockingly, she sat on the edge of the building, her legs hanging off the side. Loki had finally decided to wait a little longer. Hopefully some more interesting critters would show up and give her a good fight.
