Trainer Class (TC) System

After speaking with Djay in the Cbox, we have come up with an easy way to rank trains and restrict CERTAIN aspect into a Rank/Title system. While still allowing freedom in the more important aspect. This system is called Trainer Class;

    Trainer Class is based on how many badges a Trainer has. So 1 badge would equal a Trainer Class of I, or Beginner, or E, or whatever we use as as a placeholder. A Class 1 trainer can only hold a certain amount of pokemon in storage, can only challenge the next Gym, and isnt very well known. While a Trainer Class of 8 can hold any number of pokemon, has already defeat all the Gyms, and is very well known, but not Famous yet. Trainer Class will not effect how many pokemon one can have in a party, since they can always have up to six. They only start with X amount, though. It would also restrict certain classes from participting in certain events and tell if Legendary's would follow said Trainer. Also, keep in mind, that Organization creators/leaders would be able to reserve the right of certain ranks to players with a certain TC.

Things being considered are; Whether or not Trainer Class will decide what kinda pokemon you run into. Whether or not your Pokemons "Level" is based on your Trainer Class. Whether or not TC will be listed as numbers; I II III IV V VI VII VII. Letters; E to S/X/R or something along those lines. Or words; Beginner to Legend. And we're even considering A Ninth and Tenth Class, if my suggestion on the Elite Four is given consideration. Ninth would go to the League Champion and Tenth would go to the Trainer who defeats the Elite Four.

Example:

    First Class/Class I: 1 or No Badges
    Second Class/Class II: Second Gym Badge
    Third Class/Class III: Third Badge
    Fourth Class/Class IV: Fourth Badge
    Fifth Class/Class V: Fifth Badge
    Sixth Class/Class VI: Sixth Badge
    Seventh Class/Class VII: Seventh Badge
    Eight Class/Class VIII: All Badges
    Ninth Class/Class Nine: Pokemon League Champion
    Tenth Class/Class X: Defeated The Elite Four/Shitenou. Pokemon Legend and Most Powerful/Skilled Trainer in the Region. And one of the Most Powerful/Skilled Trainers in the World.

Pokemon Tiers, under my system, would be based on their trainers TC, in one of two ways;

    1. Exact copy. Tenth Class Trainer has all Tenth Tier Pokemon, since pokemon are based on TC.
    2. Each time a trainer gets a higher TC they gain a Tier Point (TP?) which allows them to Tier up a pokemon. All pokemon start at Tier 0/1 (whatever). And Tier up based on how many Tier points you give them. (This would need fine tuning. Such as "What if I want a new pokemon/team? How would I get more TP?" and so on.

And also it would dictate what kinda pokemon a trainer can use. I know what your thinking "WTF? Thats lame" but hear me out. In Canon Dragon-type Pokemon are often called "Hard to control", right? Only higher TC trainers could control Dragon-types and Psuedo-legendary's. Or maybe only the evolved forms? Dratini can be used by any TC. But Dragonaires and Dragonites, Shelgons and Salamences etc.. could be used by higher tiers. And Tyranitars as far as Pseudo-legendary's go. TC 6+ for second forms, and TC 8+ for final forms maybe? Just a suggestion, something to consider.

Box space is a real issue under this system. We'd need to set a designated number of pokemon one could hold in the PC based on what TC they had. Class 1 being 0, but they can hold up to 6 in a party. And Class 8 being any number. Nine and Ten, if my Shitenou/Elite Four is considered, do nothing for the Box system.

This whole system sound like an interesting idea and i think it will work out pretty well. Some things need to be fine tuned but overall this system seems pretty good. As far as the trainer calsses go, Tenth Class would be if someone defeated The Elite Four, where would Gym Leaders & the actual Elite Four be placed in on this Class System? What would Tiering up a pokemon do for it? And instead of TC 6+ for second forms and TC 8+ for final forms I think it should be dropped down a little because if I understood that correctly that would mean you'd have to have 6 badges to have an evolved form and 8 badges for a final evolved form, that seems a little high to me.
